Thanksgiving can't happen without a Turkey Bowl! So all the rugby guys got together to continue the tradition. Casey pulled through for the team- not only was he the first to get grass stains on his jersey, he scored some touchdowns!! I was a proud cheerleader! They were rotating teams through and I gotta brag and say that Casey's team stayed on the field the longest!

Thanksgiving Weekend- Gobble Gobble!
Casey and I were able to start Thanksgiving off the right way... with a litte song and a reminder of what to truly be thankful for- family! Wednesday night we got this in the mail:

The weekend continued with food, food, and more food. After the game I came home to cook! My assignment was candied yams... and they were a hit! I was a little nervouse I had never made them before but you can't really go wrong with that much brown sugar! Scott came through with a perfect prime rib, while Cris provided her famous mashed potatoes. All in all we had to be rolled out of the living room one by one. I was so full! The kids retreated to the basement for some R&R. We watched Wall-E while we digested. What a great movie! Saturday we had an Ekins family gathering! Again surrounded by amazing food- can't go wrong! We sat around the table, told tales, and laughed. Nothing better than spending time with family. And the things you learn... priceless! All in all it was a great weekend. I ended it with the best hour nap I have ever taken in my life today! Three more weeks and it's Boxer famiy time! Can't wait! Miss you guys!
