Fourth of July this year was... interesting! Once my favorite holiday, now... well now it's different. Casey I were able to pay our respects to his grandparents grave, which was amazing! I loved spending time there with Casey and listening to stories of his grandparents I never got the chance to meet. Then we met some friends at the Sugarhouse Art Festival, a place that is great for people watching! Casey won a t-shirt, he got a hole in one when putting at the Wells Fargo vendor! I just came home with a green mouth from a Ring Pop and a pen. Casey was the big winner. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner! Casey and I then went home for a picnic and our own BBQ of left overs! Then we met up for some Sugarhouse Fireworks.
But after this Fourth of July I have come to a conclusion. When you grow up right outside D.C. and have Fourth of July's there nothing can beat it. I mean concerts everywhere, monuments in the background of fireworks, museums that are free.... yep nothing can beat that! I miss you Virginia!
