Ho Ho Ho!

Santa visited little Maddie for this first time this year! Although I don't think she could fully appreciate it Casey and I had so much fun playing up her first Christmas. And as any proper lady knows... making your Christmas bright all begins with the outfits! So we were lucky enough to have Mimi supply Maddie Bear with her Christmas Eve outfit- then Casey and I pulled through for her Santa outfit on Christmas Day! She was the most beautiful present we could have ever asked for!

Christmas Eve started out a little rough... I was sick in the morning but we pulled it together in time to head over to my in-laws. We were able to pull out some old family Christmas videos... yikes! We were reminded of some good and not so good trends that we all took part of! The friendly reminders consisted of Power Rangers, interesting hair cuts (mainly the bowl cut for Casey and Cam, and lets say a shorter due for Cris!!**this is mentioned with love**), I forget what they were called but the animals that had Velcro and babies in their bellies, and just the pure excitement we all had when we were kids opening presents Christmas morning.

We spent this years festivities with the Kisers. It was so fun to spend time with family. Christmas morning we were able to skype my family and open presents before heading over for the main event. We are so blessed to have technology that no matter where family might be you can spend the holidays together. It was so awesome to see my family and remind them how much they are missed and loved. Casey and I are blessed to be surrounded by the best family! After opening presents over skype and showing off Maddie we went over to Casey's parents house. There we opened presents, ate looks of junk, played games, watched movies, and hung around talking about old Christmas memories. Casey was in heaven after opening his favorite gift of this Christmas- Ticket to Ride. For fellow gamers out there you can only imagine the excitement! Casey wanted to play right away and I think he has it down on his schedule the rest of the week to play!

Maddie made out like a bandit this Christmas- she wasn't willing to even let Mommy hold on to her cash!
