Maddie is almost 8 months old and I can't believe it! My 3 pounder is growing up. Here are a few tricks we've learned in order to keep up with the Madster. 1) putting on a diaper while Maddie is laying on her belly. Ever since discovering rolling Maddie has not and will not stay still. 2) Because the little bugger won't stay still all poopy diapers must be changed in the bath tub. It is a sight to behold- very messy. Yuck! 3) In order to keep the screaming to a minimum it is also beneficial to change clothes while said baby is on stomach.
4) When feeding make the goober laugh in order to get the food in- but remember you can't use the same trick she now knows what you are doing- if you get that spoon near her lips again its iron clad. You must have a new strategy every time.
Maddie is getting some new tricks of her own. She is a talker. She can sit up- note you still need to be around to catch her head dives to the floor when she gets tired or distracted. She is a steam roller. She is a crazy sleeper- I will put her in her crib one direction to wake up in the middle of the night with her sleeping sideways to only find her in the morning with her head where her feet began! She is laughing- we found a few tickle spots!
I am just so proud of my little lady and I fall more in love with her every second!

Yeah just when you get one strategy to work, the little monkeys adjust to your tactics and you have to come up with something new! So you can put on your resume "innovative and creative problem solving skills"
