Snowbird Extravaganza!

Casey and I were lucky enough to spend the weekend at Snowbird Ski Resort. It was so nice to get away and skip a Saturday deep clean of the apartment! We got to enjoy the mountains, music festival, hot tub, spa, tram, and incredible people watching. We started the weekend with the most amazing kettle corn we have ever had! (SERIOUS!) At the music festival there were vendors and Sasha's kettle corn was awesome... it took a couple free samples before we actually bought some. haha The music was great... we decided it was a poor mans Counting Crows- but very entertaining. Some of the bands had pretty loyal fans... my personal favorite was the lady with a Mohawk except one braid that went past her butt and she would swing it above her head when she truly approved of a song! Sick, I know but so entertaining. We needed the night meeting the most interesting people in the hot tub- the music festival surely brings an interesting crowd. We met 2 Navy Rescue Divers- all in the same hot tub... although there were no lifeguards on duty I felt safer with them there!

Saturday was our relax day- SPA TREATMENT! We both got massages and I got my first body scrub! It was awesome! Casey said it was the first time he has ever worn a robe! haha My favorite was the steam room- although Casey claimed he couldn't breath in there I thought it was so relaxing. We got to enjoy the mountains! Our hotel package included a ticket up the tram and what a view! It was so beautiful up there... thank you mother nature! We got to enjoy some more music festival and hot tubing...

Then it was Sunday- check out day. It was a bitter sweet. But that was a weekend that was greatly needed. And the best part- we got to use monopoly money to pay for it! Thanks to Cris who had ski passes that we could use it didn't cost a penny! Thanks so much Cris!

We miss you Snowbird all ready. But we are gearing up for our next trip- VIRGINIA HERE WE COME!
