Christmas with the Ekins!

Casey and I were able to go to the annual Ekins Christmas party! Phyl and Jean really out did themselves this year... we got to sit on the REAL Santa's lap, play white elephant games, a great dinner, and family! It was awesome to be able to see everyone and get closer to all our relatives.

Everyone got their chance to sit on Santa's lap! Casey asked for awesome board scores, I on the other hand will and am accepting everything- I don't know if people know how poor we really are!!

Chip on Santa's lap. Direct quote from Santa, "Have you been a cute boy?" (Note: for everyone else it was "Have you been a GOOD boy/girl?") Yes even Santa can't get past that smile.

Garrett's first time at the Ekin's party... he did so well! I think he just might make it!

During the white elephant exchange the hot item was a "Fanny Bank"- this consisted of a piggy bank of a butt crack. Oh yes, I went there. It was a butt crack, and when you put in your money it farted. Now what does it say about us that everytime it farted we couldn't stop laughing. I know. It's sad, but true. At the end of the game I walked away with a Snuggie and Casey a fondue set. It was what we call a Win-Win-Win! We also got to catch up with the Teerlink family, Johnson family, and King family- it was so great seeing all of you!! We love being with family!
