Playing Catch Up

So.... Thanksgiving happened then something bad happened. The Holy War- this year was bad, I mean really bad. Casey and I almost didn't make it. It was the first year since we have been together that we didn't actually go to the game so we watched the game at his parents house(BAD CALL). BYU put up a good fight, and I am proud of them. But in the end Utah walked away with the win. It's a shame, but I stand by the school I went to through thick and thin. And I will say I am thankful that BYU and Utah are in different conferences, I think this will help our marriage. Plus its just sad how crazy that game makes people!

Then after that very very bad day something good happened- Festival of Trees! Casey and I wanted to donate to the hospital that has done so much for our little girl. We weren't able to buy a tree, in fact I was amazed at how much some of those trees sold for, but we went and bought our little Maddie an ornament. We thought it would be a great keepsake for her. We don't want her to forget everything that she has gone through and how blessed we've been to have Primary Children's Hospital so close. So thanks Primarys, and to all those who work there!

I was really excited to get the Christmas decorations out- nothing better like being able to listen to Amy Grant Christmas and get the decorations out!
