Craziness

It's been a crazy couple of days for the Kiser family. Casey turned 28, Kenzie got married, and Maddie had her first birthday! I think I cried at every event- my husband is old, my sister=in-law looked so beautiful and I loved seeing her so happy, and most of all my little baby is growing up! When I was rocking Maddie to sleep on the night of her birthday I couldn't help to think of how far we have come. We went from not even being able to hold our sweet baby because of her condition to not being able to hold our baby because she won't stay still for two seconds! The first time I held Maddie she was about a week old, and curled up into a ball about the size of my hand. I was terrified! She had so many wires, and weighed close to nothing. And last night when I was rocking her she was draped across my whole body, wire free! I can't believe she is 1! She as changed our world forever and I LOVE IT! I can't wait to see who she is going to be and I know that I will always be proud of her. I love you Maddie Bear!

To celebrate Hurricane Maddie's Very First Birthday we had a costume party with friends! We had so much fun! We had a grave walk, donut eating contest and masks for the kids! I loved seeing all the great costumes.
